Music Magazine Task - Front Cover
These are my final four drafts for my front cover. I have experimented with different fonts and colors. I have decided my favourite version is the largest picture at the bottom. I chose this one because I enjoy the fonts and colour scheme I have used on it as I believe they compliment each other very well.

This a video documenting the making of my front cover. I used Adobe Photoshop cs5 to create the final version and used Microsoft Paint to document the different steps used.

Music Magazine Task - Front Cover Photoshoot
This is the behind the scenes video of the photo shoot for the front cover of my rock magazine Amplified. The person I used to model was my friend Adam Winter. This was filmed by Louise Hudson, edited by me. I use two songs in this video the first was "My Reputation" by Joan Jett and the latter was "One Way Or Another" by Blondie. I feel that both of these songs compliment the genre of my magazine very well and also go greatly with the video as a dominant non-diegetic sound.
Music Magazine Task - UK Top 40 Download Chart
This is the UK Top 40 Download Chart for December 2012. I thought I would look at this to see what the most successful genre of music is at the minute and if there was any correlation between this and the genre of my own music magazine. I found that at the moment the most popular genres of music are Pop and Dance with the occasional slow piano ballad. Due to the time of year this specific chart was published in there are also a few Christmas songs in the charts too. Unfortunately I cannot make a bar chart to represent the ratio/percentage of my selected genre in this chart as there are no songs of that genre on here.
